Another way is to tell local radio stations to carry talk show talent like Air America's rising star Johnny "Angel" Wendell and other pros like Ed Schultz. If they're already on in your area, listen and call in. Write to the media via the Media Watch Project.
Your support for truth-telling progressive voices on the radio is already changing things for the better. Fresh off the smashing success of his AirAmerica debut last week, Johnny "Angel" Wendell will be on Sundays as well as Saturdays on AirAmerica in Los Angeles. The powers that be decided after the first show to double up on the "Punk Rock Commie" and so Mr. Wendell (sorry, Speech) will be doing 10AM-1PM (or 2PM) starting on April 24th. His shifts are 10AM Sat/10AM Sun at KTLK-AM1150, LA's Progressive Talk Station.
Johnny has been a weekend fill-in/regular at KFI640AM in LA and WRKO680AM in Boston since 2002 He isn't a hack broadcaster nor is he a neophyte at the mic. He's a 30 year veteran of the punk scenes of Boston, New York, San Francisco and LA, has charted records and syndicated columns as "Johnny Angel" He holds court on any and every topic save quantum physics and micro-biology. But give him time.

Let your friends and neighbors know what you know: Bush didn't win a mandate and he doesn't deserve to stay in office. Bush is disgusting, immoral, and vapid. Almost all he says is not just wrong, but the opposite of reality. We have to hold the Republicans who should know better, but still support this evil jerk accountable. We have to work around the media which keep covering up Bush / Cheney crimes and lying about their failures to prop up this failed and dangerous administration.
Democrats went easy on this regime after Bush stole the election and then again after 9/11 when - instead of reaching out and governing for America - Bush and his team of Rove, Cheney, Powell, Rice lied us into war, attacked our rights, raided our Treasury and wrecked our economy. We should have treated this unelected, unqualified disaster with the exact same respect the right wingers showed Clinton: none.
We should have demanded impeachment for the Votergate election crimes in Florida 2000 and all the crimes since. We should demand impeachment now for high crimes and fatal failures including criminal negligence ignoring the pre-9/11 warnings; collusion with Haliburton, Enron and other companies to defraud and exploit taxpayers, consumers, investors and employees; lying to the Congress and the American people about Iraq; their "Medicare Bill" - really welfare for their friends in the HMO and Rx drug industries, and so much more.
We have to make up for lost time with Howard Dean at the DNC standing up to the fascist trend in America before it's too late. We have to pressure the media to cover Bush/Cheney scandals and tell us the truth with the Media Watch Project. We have to show our fellow Americans Bush has no mandate and millions of us oppose him.
True, Bush cheated his way back in, but don't give up hope. An earlier generation drove Nixon from office even after he won a massive victory in 1972 because he committed crimes against the American People. Nixon was a model citizen compared to the Bush Occupation.
The Bush campaign cheated in Ohio and elsewhere to deny, deprive and suppress the right to vote. It doesn't matter if they claim their cheating was less than the margin of their tainted "victory." The rule of law says if you cheat you lose. Bush cheated. He lost.
Election cheating, lying us into war, plus several other crimes Bush, Cheney and others committed require that all good and decent Americans oppose the Bush Occupation and work for its removal like the cancer it is. One way to help is to wear shirts and buttons, use stickers etc. to express the truth: Bush didn't win any mandate and he doesn't deserve to stay in office.
Bush's followers will say we hate America and don't support our troops. We will get harassed, but so be it. We love America. We just don't support Bush. We know America is not Bush and Bush is not America. We're better than Bush. Much better.
We support our troops more than Bush who sent them to Iraq knowing they didn't have the body armor and other equipment they needed - all the worse since Bush chose the time to send them to fight and die for oil. Bush fans don't know the truth and can't handle the truth, but the truth is stronger than hate. Help us tell the truth. Let's do it, while we still can.
