Defeat George W Bush in November. Support America as it was and as it should be. Since 9-11, Bush and his administration damaged the Constitutional fabric of the United States in the name of security. They subverted the checks and balances, upsetting the separation of powers established by our founders. This threatens our freedom. Under the Bush Occupation, we're slipping into dark despotism. We support our republic and oppose the limitless federal power Bush and his supporters arrogate to themselves. We oppose Cheney/Bushism because we believe in the rule of law and seek to restore the US Constitution.

America cannot afford four more years of fascism, failure and misleadership. We demand a return to political sanity, the vital center, the honorable American traditions of accountability, dignity and honesty. The Bush administration's gross misconduct and bald-faced lies keep damaging our national credibility and offending our conscience. The Bush Occupation insulted our allies and squandered the international good will and cooperation we need to keep us safe against terrorist attacks. Bush's thugs and loudmouths undermined our security by abusing the trust the American people and rest of the world placed in them after 9/11.

Nothing is more difficult to reclaim than the moral leadership Bush's failed, reckless, immoral policies soiled. In countless ways, Bush and his administration made us less safe, less healthy, and less prosperous. Bush's economic, education, environmental, health and other policies have been as disastrous as his failed foreign policies. The Cheney/Bush junta must end, but we must act to make sure it does. Activism means speaking out, being seen, and making a difference. It's not always easy, but the alternative means suffering a slow silent death of the heart.
