Cindy Sheehan Deserves to be Heard by the American People on Television Talk Shows!

To television talk show hosts, producers, and network executives:

We the undersigned petitioners do hereby request that Cindy Sheehan be given the opportunity to tell her story on the major television talk shows. All Americans need to know and understand the devastation the war in Iraq is causing the families of American men and women fighting and dying in Iraq. Cindy Sheehan is the person to carry this message to the American people.

Cindy has been on many cable shows, such as MSNBC's Hardball. But, Cindy should be seen and heard by all Americans - not just those who have cable television. Cindy is traveling around the US, sharing her personal story, and doing what she can to tell the American people the truth about the war in Iraq. You can help Cindy reach America! Please sign this petition to help convince television talk show hosts, producers, and network executives that Cindy Sheehan should appear on their programs.

More about Cindy Sheehan

Cindy Sheehan was a typical American mom until the Iraq War came home to her in the worst possible way. April 4, 2004, her son US Army Spc. Casey Sheehan was killed in Iraq. She co-founded Gold Star Families for Peace (Gold Star Families for Peace), a group of families of soldiers who have died as a result of war (primarily, but not limited to the invasion/occupation of Iraq). They work to raise awareness in the United States about the true human costs of the invasion/occupation of Iraq. Cindy and the Gold Star Families joined with veterans groups, peace and other activists, and concerned Americans including Radio Left, the Progressive Democrats of America (PDA), Code Pink, Peace Action, United for Peace and Justice (UFPJ), and others demanding withdrawal of U.S. armed forces from Iraq.

Cindy testified at the Rep. John Conyers-led hearings on Capitol Hill June 16, and then spoke at the rally at Lafayette Park across from the White House. She is making numerous appearances on radio and television. But, she should be on the programs seen and heard by a larger audience. Please sign the petition here: http://www.cindysheehan.com/

Here are just a few comments about Cindy Sheehan. Add yours now!

It is thoroughly disgusting that this occupant of the white house that got us into this illegal and immoral assault on Iraq and Afghanistan will not even face the parents of the children he is sacrificing daily. Shame on this murderous administration!

I am behind you Cindy, all the way.

This courageous woman needs to be heard! Most sentient beings are sickened by this war; the lies and deceit before the conflict and the hubris that continues to be shown by this White House which poll numbers show continues to lose credibility.

George W. Bush is a man of moral vacancy.

Years from now Cindy will be in history books. We need more people like her to speak the truth to the masses. It is time for the American people to wake up and stop buying into the bushit.

please call for impeachment

I agree with above matter, it was really not a right action against Iraq. It's not against the Iraq, it was against the humanity.

Cindy is America's voice about this immoral war in Iraq. I support her 100+% to be on any and all TV & Radio talk shows. Thank you for listening.

Stay the course, Cindy! Millions and millions of us support you 100%.

Keep up the good work, Cindy, you are providing a great service to all of America. Without people like you, Bush could continue to hide the human cost of his lies and incompetent leadership.

I have heard Cindy on several occasions and agree with everything this brave lady says. They had better think twice about arresting her!

I really appreciate what she is doing and wish I could be there with her. She deserves to be heard.

You have my support and my blessings. You set a very good example of how individuals can make a difference.

Good luck on your mission. GO CINDY. I admire your courage. If I had the finances, I would be there to support your cause. I know your son Casey is smiling on you. God bless.

Cindy is on a mission here and we should do all that we can to support her-count me in!!

my brother was killed in ww2. I know the pain my family suffered. You deserve to be heard. God bless you.

you go girl- I can envision you as the one person to stop this war.

I would like to hear Cindy. My heart goes out to all mothers, everywhere, who are losing their children.

My family offers our heartfelt condolences to Ms. Sheehan. Our nation must hear from this woman and ALL families who have lost their loved ones in Iraq. Arm this nation with information. Disarm this nation from carrying out these bad faith police actions.

Chicken Hawks, whose own children live safely in their nests, should NOT send other people's children to fight and to die for oil, and for the financial interests of said Chicken Hawks.

Thank You Cindy and God Bless! I am so, so sorry for you loss.

I support Cindy Sheehan in her efforts to bring truth to the people of this nation.

I support Cindy Sheehan's efforts to confront and question George Bush for crimes perpetrated against his own country as well as others.

Be a real man George, for once!
