California Recall
Help for Concerned California Voters
Bev Harris, the author of Black Box Voting writes: Black Box Voting is sponsoring instant reporting of voting rights violations and other problems at http://www.bbvreport.org/. California voters can submit voting experiences immediately at this site. For unusual or egregious problems, the BBV team contacts the media to direct them to the scene of the action. Californians who have concerns or trouble voting can post to the new BBV Reports web site, part of BlackBoxVoting. This site will remain online until a final resolution is reached. Voters can post problems and discuss voting experiences in real time, and we will have a media arm to send camera crews or notify news reporters if anything is reported (and checked out) that shows voters' rights are being abridged.

California Recall
Kudos to the LA Times
Jackson Thoreau offers Kudos to the LA Times and explains "Schwarzenegger Lies Again" in "Another Victim's Story." In the couple of years I have written Internet columns for progressive Web sites, I have done my fair share of criticizing the mainstream U.S. media for not being aggressive enough in taking on Republican politicians. Well, it's only fair I commend the members of the press when they do their jobs. And the Los Angeles Times did its job in sparkling fashion with its investigation of Arnold the Groping Liar published this week.

California Recall
Terminate the Travesty
Mike Hersh writes: California has always had a special place in my heart. My grandparents lived there, and I visited them - and my uncle, aunt and cousins - several times. I love California. I'd hate to see her shamed and abused by Arnold Schwarzenegger.

It's not just Schwarzenegger's disgusting immoral if not criminal behavior. It's not just that this is one more right wing dirty trick. Desperate Republicans would use this opportunity to rig the 2004 elections, return California to racism against Hispanics and open the door to more economic abuse - which caused the current California Crisis, as detailed in "Arnold Unplugged" by Greg Palast. Here's a special message from MoveOn.org about how to terminate this travesty.

California Recall
ARNOLD UNPLUGGED
Greg Palast writes, It's hasta la vista to $9 billion if the Governator is selected and adds, Mike, feel free to print "Arnold Unplugged," below. And thanks for recent kind remarks.

Thanks,
Greg

California Recall
Say no to the California recall and Schwarzenegger
Jackson Thoreau urges you to say no to the California recall and Schwarzenegger the Liar. Forget for a moment that Arnold Schwarzenegger has pretty much gotten a free ride from the mainstream and scandal-sheet media, which have largely refused to investigate numerous reports of the Terminator cheating on his wife in recent years and even sexually assaulting women. Forget that if Schwarzenegger was running as a Democrat, you wouldn't see all of the national and Californian Republican hypocrites genuflecting before him as if he was a god - they'd be labeling him a liar and cheater and worse names....
