Jobs and the Economy
Unfair Bush Policies Cause Weak Bush Economy
Mike Hersh writes: The economy is already weak and getting weaker, thanks to
Bush's bad priorities and irresponsibility. Job losses are up, the Index of
Leading Economic Indicators is down, consumer confidence is down, the deficit is
up, gas prices are up, the costs of health care are up, poverty is up, family
income is down, and things can only get worse as Bush stubbornly stays the
course putting the top 1% richest people he calls "his base" above the national
good. Why would anyone other than those elite vote for Bush? They shouldn't.

Debunking Dubba-U-nomics
Mike Hersh explains economics so simply even a "Supply Sider" could understand it. Basically, Bush's approach failed before and will fail again, leading to fewer jobs, higher real costs for consumers and businesses, and higher total taxes for most Americans.

Iraq Around The Clock: What About Jobs?
Mike Hersh writes: Last night Bush said he wouldn't risk a single American life by trusting Saddam Hussein. We don't have to. We have Saddam under our thumb now, and need not fear him unless we behave stupidly. Karl Rove wrote up a blueprint months ago to trick the American people into voting for Republicans.
Bush is following this blueprint at potential cost of 10,000s of American lives and $billions in tax dollars. Just so Republicans can win elections! I would not risk a single American life trusting George W. Bush, and I don't trust him and the Republicans to run our economy either.

Bushwhack Bush Tax is Bad for America
Mike Hersh writes: We may be headed for another horrendous recession, as bad as the Great Reagan Recession of 1981-82. This because Bush pushed another round of Supply Side "Deja Voodoo" economic polices. They are Bushwhacking the economy.
